*Add NSFW article template to... not the Cleanup listing, but- wherever- if we have a listing for article templates. Same thing with the NSFWimage image tag: find wherever image tags are listed and list it. And is there a way to make the NSFW article template not have like- a bunch of empty space underneath it? It looks pretty good as-is, but I don't like how it leaves a ton of empty space underneath it. I think this is kinda a larger issue with template formatting, but look into it.

*[[Koga Game Factory]] stuff. I think the dates need to be redone per the Developer Table entry, but that also needs to be double-checked. Also, check how the developer actually spelled their name per the official website, so I know if DT's spelling is correct or not. Also check the To do page for the Developer Table dump.

Articles

  • FINISH: Jamie Bunker, Gaiares, Renovation Products
  • Email Jamie Bunker about Renovation Products stuff/history, plus his own history.
  • Virtual Batting stuff. Like: It's contextualized as "for business use", which I'm assuming means like "this is less a board that's gonna be manufactured wholesale and shipped everywhere, but more a giant machine thats gonna be expensive and specialized and more for entertainment centers". Get it cleaned up, expanded, and added to Omnis/other places. Also search the Japanese web using the JP name again, but work it for longer. There's a lot more here, I know it.
  • Mattel Juice Box from here.
  • Check Videotop's archived website for a Game Zone logo, or at least more information on the label.
  • Add NSFW article template to... not the Cleanup listing, but- wherever- if we have a listing for article templates.
  • Polygames: find higher resolution logo. Also get the Lee Actor interview on there, and learn how to cite interviews. and then obv cite any relevant information.
  • Societa stuff here, and once that's done, go over Societa Daikanyama again.
  • Chicken Head: Lots of stuff, everything basically. Link
  • Koga Game Factory stuff. I think the dates need to be redone per the Developer Table entry, but that also needs to be double-checked. Also, check how the developer actually spelled their name per the official website, so I know if DT's spelling is correct or not. Also check the To do page for the Developer Table dump.
  • Why are Societa Daikanyama and Digital Garage located at the same address? What's the connection here?
  • Are there any other articles or images that are like, blatantly NSFW?
  • Create SMS Power! article. Think of other big, notable, Sega-related communities.
  • Create Haruomi Hosono article, don't forget Celebrity tag.
  • Create QUO or QUO Card, look into SegaxQUO stuff (crosspromotions, working together, all the Sega-branded QUO cards, etc.)
  • Create Sega Shiro article, don't forget Spokesperson tag (and Celebrity?) Also clean up Segata Sanshiro, link to his son, fill out a Legacy section, etc. Does that one need Celebrity too? He kinda was... and he definitely was in the world of Sega. And now I'm questioning how to define the word "celebrity". Hm.
  • Merge Mizuki and Spike.
  • Add all Micro Vision logos from official website waybacks. Same with Nihon System.
  • Is the current Beck-Tech related to the old Beck-Tech?
  • Find where I've referred to South Korea's language as "Korean" and change it to "Han'geul".
  • I'm thinking... what if distributor pages had a dedication section for countries/regions distributed to... just a simple multicol. Hm. "Markets"?
  • A section in Welcome to the Next Level about how Japan loved it and used it extensively. And for some time too (figure out the most recently its been used.)
  • SAMSUNG'S PICO MASCOT IS AN ADORABLE SONIC KNOCKOFF. Do something with this.
  • Change all my NEC-relevant wikipedia links to NEC Retro ones.
  • Get a solid ref or two for Bros. Comics EX being a label (owned by Enterbrain), and any relation to Famitsu Bros.. And refs showing Famitsu Bros is a label too.
  • Move OpenProductions logo C.png and remove the S. Cause it's giving me 'too quick' errors now ughhhhhhhhhhhhh
  • Clarify Sansan (company)'s role. Are they the company that manages the Sansan service? Etc.
  • Write summaries for the empty sections on the Michael Jackson article.
  • Upload office/factory/company photos for ZOGA.
  • Should the Shinseisha logo have the Kabushiki gaisha removed from it?
  • Image tag all my Celebrity articles, and go through and add Celebrity categories and image tag wherever else might be needed.
  • Finish writing the rest of the Stormlord article, and use that awesome "Making of Stormlord" article. Also put it in External links.
  • Look over all my Games contributions, and get them fully-written as well.
  • Upload any office images I can find to their respective company articles.
  • Get a basic gameplay summary up for every Sega Mega LD game, as well as cleaning up any LaserActive sub-pages.
  • Clean up and rewrite the SEED Television article.
  • Create proper interview pages for the Sega VR interviews. And for Ric Green.
  • Transcribe Sega Mega LD production credits.
  • Check all my old articles for improper subject italicization (Sega VR, some of the older ones).
  • Sega Sammy Creation appears to be a separate company from Sega Sammy Holdings (I believe it's the development company/branch), with separate offices. Looks like these offices (sometimes?) independently develop machines as well, but that aside, make a separate article for Creation proper, move redirects, check Softog templates etc. Also to be added: Sega Sammy Creation, Inc. USA and Aruze Gaming America, Inc. are located in the same building (they're direct neighbors). Basic details here: Link And while I'm at it, clean up Sega Sammy Holdings.

IGN dates

It seems that IGN "localises" the dates depending on where the page is accessed from. Accessing from the UK gives a date of December 31st for Batman Returns, but when using a US proxy I got the date of May 19th that you referenced. Not an issue as you linked an archive of the page, and the Internet Archive is based in the US, but could be an issue if someone wanted to reference the UK page. That "UK" date is obviously a placeholder though, it released in September going by the official Gallup charts.Pirate Dragon (talk) 11:50, 15 April 2021 (EDT)
Interesting. Thank you for the heads-up about IGN too! I wonder if there’s a way to stop it, or archive a copy that won’t change the date. Good find with those posts too, I really like the idea of using these to help sort out release dates ;) CartridgeCulture (talk) 16:42, 15 April 2021 (EDT)

Image tagging

Can you please tag the files before uploading them? Just paste the respective tags on the "Summary" box before uploading them... best regards...--Asagoth (talk) 09:07, 22 April 2021 (EDT)

Anytime, you're super welcome! And I'll absolutely start tagging my uploads. My bad! I didn't even know tagging was a thing. I'll go back and tag my older uploads too. ;)
As always I genuinely appreciate the help, thanks again Asagoth.

Romaji

Just letting you know, we use wapuro romaji for Japanese names, so long "o" becomes "ou" and long "u" becomes "uu". There are very few instances where a page's title isn't plain ascii. - Hivebrain (talk) 22:08, 30 May 2021 (EDT)

Got it, thanks for the heads up. I'll start putting Refs under external links too :) CartridgeCulture (talk) 01:59, 31 May 2021 (EDT)

Company logos

It's unlikely we're going to maintain categories for every company, so I'd just do

{{logo|company}}

when it comes to categorisation. That'll throw it in Category:Company logos -Black Squirrel (talk) 10:48, 10 September 2021 (EDT)

Got it, that'll actually be easier. Thanks :)
