Sega PC was a division within Sega of Japan dedicated to porting games to the PC platform. It was headed by Shun Arai. In 2000, it became Smilebit.[1][2][3]

Sega PC continued to exist, and sometime in the mid 00's it focused on original content for mainly the Japanese audience, such as The Typing of the Dead 2 and Sega Splash Golf.
