This short article is in need of work. You can help Sega Retro by adding to it.

Padis (Падис) was Russian video game distributor founded in 1994 by Baskakov Pavel Vladimirovich [1]. The company started out as a reseller of the Steepler assortment. In the second half of the 90s, it had two own stores - Mikki and TKS. From around 1997/1998, they began switching from selling licensed and unlicensed consoles to their own production. In 1999, they formed the New Game company, dealing with most of the responsibilities related to the sale, production of game boxes and the release of own games. Padis stayed behind, buying trademarks, translating games into Russian, creating own game boxes, publishing their own games and hacks.

Cardboard inlay inside box

16 Битный картридж (early design)

Design by Virt (whose trademarked was registered by Padis[22]) sold from 1997/1998 to 1999/2000. At the top is the Mega Drive logo with the name of the console changed to the name of the genre of the game like for example Sega Boyevik 16 Битный картридж (Sega Action 16 bit cartridge). The boxes are made in a similar way to those from the SNES, so inside we have cardboard inlay with the cartridge and box has two spines - first one with Russian title with color indicating genre of game and second one with cheats. Besides Monopoly, rest of the games are in English. It was followed by New Game's later design.
