Hiroshi Kawaguchi (川口 博史) is among the oldest of the Sega sound team members. He serves as the main composer for the Space Harrier and After Burner series - two of the company's most recognized brands - and has contributed music to many others, especially when it comes to racing games. His most lasting contribution to the video game industry, though, is the soundtrack to the original OutRun, whose four melodic tracks have been remade by both himself and others time and time again.

He is also known as Hiro (ヒロ) (his alias) and Hiroshi Miyauchi (宮内 博史) (his pre-mukoyōshi name) and has been a part of both the S.S.T. Band and the sound unit [H.], the latter of which he leads.
