Metin Tekstil began selling Sega products in 1991. Company sold Sega Master System I and II, Sega Mega Drive I and Sega Game Gear all in the European PAL System.
In 1995, the company ARAL became a distributor. Aral brought Sega Mega Drive II which was the same model sold in the Middle East. It is not known whether Sega Mega-CD II and Sega 32X were sold here. In 1996, the sale of Sega Saturn began. The console was in the European PAL system.
In 1996, TCI's technology group got the rights to distribute Sega Channel in Turkey , but it is not known that the service was launched there.
In 2000, Sega Dreamcast also reached the country. ARAL still sells Sega products in Turkey to this day.[1]Red Vault from Red Entertainment Distribution (Sega distributor in the MENA region) was also available in this country.
