The Sega SC-3000 was distributed in Egypt by Cactus International[1]. The console was known in the second half of the 1980s, when it had to compete with the Atari 2600 whose original versions and copies were popular in Egypt.
In the early 1990s, Al-Arabi began promoting the first model of Sega Master System console through both printed media and TV ads,it also promoted a year-long membership card for the Sega Club, where it was possible to borrow Sega cartridges[2].
Later, Al-Arabi also released the Mega Drive, which like the previous console was sold in European PAL format.
From late 2000s to 2019, Red Entertainment Distribution was involved in the sale of Sega products[3][4].
Sega Toys are distributed by NewBoy.[5]
