History of Sega in Indonesia


Official Sega distributor(s): New Era (2005-2019) , Play Interactive (2016-2019) , Epicsoft Asia (2019-present)

Sega is thought to have official distribution channels in Indonesia, however very little is currently known.

Many Sega consoles and components were manufactured in Indonesia.

Sega Pico from Indonesia has a Gama company logo. Maybe this company was selling consoles in the 90s.^[1]

New Era from 2005-2019 was a distributor.^[2].From 2016 to 2019 games were also sold by Play Interactive.

From 2019, Epicsoft Asia became the distributor and released Genesis Mini and Yakuza 6.^[3]
