Sega Mega Drive II was the most popular Sega console in Iran, that was widely available and sold until late 90s and early 2000s. With Playstation release, Sega lost their market shares.[1]

From the late 2000s, Red Entertainment Distribution was involved in the sale of Sega products.[2][3]

Sega Toys are distributed by NewBoy.[4]
