Official Sega distributor(s): Third Wave Evropaïkés Epicheiríseis AEVE (1989-1990), Tenko (1990-1992), Zegetron A.E. (1992-present)

Sega Master System has been distributed since 1989 by Third Wave Evropaïkés Epicheiríseis AEVE.[1] In the magazines, Third Wave stores were called Sega Boutique.

The first Mega Drive consoles appeared in Greece unofficially in 1990. These were Japanese versions sold by the Athens Club. The company advertised them in many Greek magazines.[2]

At the end of 1990, Tenko became the distributor and released in 1991 Sega Mega Drive, Sega Game Gear and Sega Master System II. In the same year they changed its name to Interia.[3][4]They also created Sega Club.

Starting by the end of 1992 and continuing to this day Sega's long term distributor is Zegetron A.E.. [5]

Tectoy's Master System III Compact along with some Tectoy games were imported and sold in Greece.
