In the 70s Venezuela was one of the countries where Sega imported its game machines.[1]

Master System reached Venezuela in late 1980s and was sold in certain bigger video centers like "Video Color Yamin" and others[2]. From at least 1990, Novatronic distributed Sega Genesis in Venezuela[3][4].

Genesis copies were sold in the country and some factories here made their own clones, one of them is Genesis 2 16-bit produced by Juguetes Disvuga.[5]

Tom Scripts Ltda. from Venezuela, created CrazyBus for Sega Genesis, which was released in 2004.

From late 2000s, Sega games are distributed locally by two distributors - Latam Games and NC Games[6][7].
