Sega products were previously released in Syria thanks to a unknown distributor from the 1990s but the distributor closed down in the mid 2000s due to unknown reasons. From the late 2000s, Red Entertainment Distribution was involved in the sale of Sega products but sales were halted indefinitely in 2012 due to the effects of the civil war in that country.
Sega Toys are distributed by NewBoy.[1]
