Dennis Bergström released the Sega Master System in Sweden in 1987. As early Sega Master System games did not include in the instructions Dennis Bergström included separate Swedish language instruction inserts for many games. Brio took over distribution in 1990 and would remain Sega's distributor in Sweden through to the release of the Sega Dreamcast in 1999, by which time they had expanded to become Sega's distributor for the whole Nordic region.
