History of Sega in Singapore


Official Sega distributor(s): Ocean Radio (198x-198x) , Audio & Photo Distributor (198x-199x) ,Wywy Group (1993-200x), Sega Singapore (199x-200x), New Era (2005-2015), Play Interactive (2016-present)

Ocean Radio brought SC-3000 to Singapore.In the 1980s, Audio & Photo Distributor sold Sega Master System model I .In 1993, Wywy Group began distributing Sega products in this region. Sold Sega Game Gear, Sega Mega Drive model 2, Sega Mega-CD, Sega 32X (all in PAL) and Sega Saturn (white version of NTSC).^[1].New Era since 2005 was a distributor ^[2].From 2016 Sega games are sold by Play Interactive.^[3]
