In the 70s Kuwait was one of the countries where Sega imported its game machines.

Alesayi United distributed the model 2 Sega Mega Drive , Sega Master System , Sega Mega CD and Sega Game Gear , Sega 32X , Sega Saturn consoles in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.[1]

In 1995, Alaab Alcomputtar was created, which was the first Arabic video game magazine.
