+ | Summer CES 1992 would be the first proper showing of what would become the year's best selling video game, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, although Sega only had a very early prototype to show behind closed doors and forbid the press from taking photographs or videosegapro.
+ | Sega also took the opportunity to reduce the price of the console down to $99segapro to match Nintendo's (also announced) price cut for the Super NES. This was also the event that the Menacer was first seensegapro.

The Summer International Consumer Electronics Show 1992 (SCES 1992).
While Accolade were at the show, on-going court battles with Sega of America meant they were unwilling to show any Sega software[1].

Summer CES 1992 would be the first proper showing of what would become the year's best selling video game, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, although Sega only had a very early prototype to show behind closed doors and forbid the press from taking photographs or video[3].
Sega also took the opportunity to reduce the price of the console down to $99[1] to match Nintendo's (also announced) price cut for the Super NES. This was also the event that the Menacer was first seen[3].
