The Summer International Consumer Electronics Show 1994 (SCES 1994) was the last Summer CES to be held.

Sega had a smaller presence in this event than previous years, with only a single room in the basement[1]. Nintendo had a much larger presence, with an elaborate staging area for the Super NES game Donkey Kong Country and Ultra 64 technical demos being shown behind closed doors[2]. Some third-party publishers were situated in the Nintendo area so were unable to demonstrate Sega titles, such as Capcom[3].

Sega put together a promotional video for the event, starring American singer Lou Rawls. It marked the first time the general public were able to see Sega 32X games in action (albeit running on development kits, where only one of the SH2 processors was operational[4]), but despite being teased at Winter CES 1994 five months prior, the Sega Saturn was nowhere to be found.
