The Sega Corporation (株式会社セガ) business founded in 2020 is a continuation of Sega Games and Sega Interactive, which were merged together into one entity (reverting a previous decision made in 2015 to split the older "Sega Corporation" into two).

During the transition phase, Sega Games' official X (at the time, Twitter) account posted a promotional video featuring Japanese comedian Egashira (the video in question was deleted days after being posted) [1]. On April 1, 2024, the company's amusement machine business was merged into Sega Toys to form Sega Fave.
