Sega CS3

Sega Consumer Research and Development Dept. #3 (Sega CS3) was a video game research and development division within Sega. As the name suggests, it was the third "consumer"-specific R&D department created by Sega of Japan. It was officially founded in April 1996 and headed by Yuji Naka.

In May 1999, all of Sega's internal development divisions were renamed, with CS2 becoming Sega Software R&D Dept. 8
